The New 2009 Mercedes McLaren SLR is named after the legendary British race car driver Stirling Moss who bagged his first F1 Grand Prix title driving a Mercedes-Benz and set a record time in the 1955 Mille Miglia race in a 300 SLR. The vehicle boasts a rap-sheet of impressive credentials such as the the 650 hp V8 powerplant from the SLR 722 edition from which 0-62 will take a 3.5 seconds and can reach a top speed of 217 mph (350km/h0).
Unfortunately, the 2009
Mercedes McLaren SLR Stirling Moss is limited to just 75 units worldwide and will be made available only to current SLR owners for US$1.5M
